What Do You Want Your Life to Look Like in the 2010 Holiday Season?

Though it is still November, I’m already reflecting upon 2009.  Having spent most of the day working on our annual holiday decoration reconstruction with a couple of new additions, I stopped in my tracks multiple times feeling as though we had just packed away these symbols of holiday wonder.  Don’t get me wrong, I love the holidays and am always the one listening to holiday music long before many can even stomach the thought.

My point is reminding us all how quickly these years pass us by in our lives and that we should not delay in moving toward the life we were meant to live.  In 2009, I continued my own journey in living the life that I was meant to live and guess what… everything has turned out for the absolute best.  As a matter of fact, I am presently standing at the a crossroads determining which part of my dream life I will choose for 2010 as there are two extremely viable directions I can go.  More news soon. but in the meantime, hopefully I can inspire you to believe that you can get there too.

I want to use this post to emphasize that 2010 will be here and gone before we know it…. and then 2011, 2012, 2013 and beyond.  The question is how will you plan to use this time to either begin planning or making that big move which will bring you into greater alignment with your life’s purpose.  If it is anything we have been reminded of in 2009 is that life presents us with no guarantees except for the inevitable.  Use today to its fullest, take that next step and life a life of purposeful wealth.  SM

The World of Trento Italy

DSC_0003Ten days ago I left the World of Naperville to engage in a business trip which began in Budapest, Hungary with travels through Austria stopping off in Salzburg and on to four days in Trento, Italy.  I believe I have discovered one of the most beautiful places on earth.

I could certainly sit here and write on and on about my impressions of the co-existent blend of pastoral beauty alongside the integration of classical Italy with a very modern society,

however I believe these photos will speak volumes about life in Trento for the 100,000 who live here.  In many ways, it was almost like living within an inspiring painting which could only result from the brush of a master artist.

White Chocolate Grill Launches ‘WCG Cooks’ Cooking Show with Pumpkin Cheesecake in Naperville

If you were at the White Chocolate Grill on October 21st, it may have looked a bit like Food Network was invading the kitchen.  Though it wasn’t Food Network, the White Chocolate Grill began production of a new online cooking show, WCG Cooks, filming during the dinner rush at its Naperville location.  What is the source of my inside information?  The answer is my new firm, Social Frequency Media Communications, produced the first two episodes.

The series, which features WCG Executive Chef, Robert Kabakoff, and Chef/Owner Bobby Fitzgerald, takes viewers behind-the-scenes into the WCG kitchen to celebrate great food, explore ingredients,  see how menu favorites are prepared and to learn great tasting recipes you can replicate at home.  Episode one focuses on a refreshing spin on a seasonal favorite, Pumpkin Cheesecake.  Hungry yet?  You can experience episode one below.

Another benefit of producing these first two episodes is being able to sample the finished product and let me say WCG’s Pumpkin Cheesecake is amazing.  But you don’t have to produce a cooking show to try this Pumpkin Cheesecake, just head on over to the White Chocolate Grill Naperville for a slice.  SM
