Learn, Interact and Experience the Inner-Workings of Naperville City Government
As a graduate of the 2006 Naperville Citizen Academy, I must say this opportunity embodies Naperville Unwrapped. The Academy, produced by Naperville’s dedicated Community Relations staff, is not only an opportunity to learn more about Naperville but to also get a hands-on perspective as you engage in interactive dialouge with key city leaders and staff. Best of all, it’s free on a first-come, first-serve basis.
From getting an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour at Naper Settlement to discussing Naperville’s master development plans with Transportation, Engineering and Development (TED), the Naperville Citizen Academy provides you with a front row seat.
Classes will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday evenings beginning April 12. A special graduation ceremony caps off the 10-week program on June 14. Limited space is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. For more information or to enroll, contact Community Relations Assistant Janice Bradley at (630) 420-6707.
If the 2007 Academy fills up and you are unable to register, be sure to ask Janice if you can be placed on the list for next year.
