Wow! Some of the comments seem rather harsh. I left the below comment on the wcg recipe page before I saw this review. I just had to add that you can call ahead and reserve. We hardly ever have to wait........

Hi WCG,

Just wanted to let you know that you are my husband's and my new all time favorite restaurant. We stumbled upon you on our way to the restaurant next door and decided to try you instead. We are so happy that we did and have been back to you 4 times more. We love the atmosphere, inside and out...we sat on the patio one night....very nice. The bar area is great, not to mention that you make a mean chocolate martini...yum! We have had several different appetizers, but our favorite is the seared ahi tuna. The soy salmon is out of this world and the honey roasted carrots......my mouth is watering. I had the WCG salad with the blue cheese, bacon, and nuts....delicious. My husband had this fabulous couscous thingy, which I had a taste of, wonderful!....sorry, don't know all the names yet...give me time. Oh, and the desserts.....we did the date night option the first time that we came so we got dessert as part of the deal. I want you to know that I never get dessert......sooo good....mmmmm! I also want you to know that I get dessert EVERY time we visit now. I have to try everything, it's all so good. Thankyou for coming to Naperville, we used to have to go downtown to get great food. Now you're right around the corner from us. One last note.....your wait staff is top notch! All should be commended for such a superb effort and to contributing to our wonderful experience. Our waiter was Tom the last two times....he's great. My husband and I both work in the city and we have told everyone to try your place. Keep it up....Great Job!!!

When living in Madison, I worked next door to Biaggi's and took my mother there when she came to visit (summer 2003). We both were pleasantly astonished by the meal, and the experience left such a remarkable footprint in my mind that I couldn't believe the sight of one opening right in my hometown. I've since visited the restaurant in its Naperville location (when taking my mother for her birthday dinner and again on Mother's day) and yet again, the restaurant exceed all expectations - even those heightened by fond memories. On one occasion, I ordered a spaghetti dish with the sauce on the side, and when the order came in swimming in sauce, the waitress fell over herself apologizing, the kitchen sent a new one out in no less than 90 seconds, the head chef and the manager came out to apologize - and I didn't say one word the whole time! I actually felt so very guilty for how profusely the apologies poured in, I wanted to hide underneath the table or something. Anyway, remarkable service with exceptional food and a comfortable, elegant environment for a reasonable price. I didn't know restaurants like this still existed. Thank you, Biaggi's, for coming to Naperville!

It's good to see some movement to the arts locally. This area seems to almost stifle any form of art and individuality. I was taken back earlier this week to see some of the greatest pastel drawing I've witnessed anywhere and was being sold for barely anything at the Naperville Art League. An areas respect for individuality and education will always be witnessed in its support for the arts. Unfortunately, it seems like the area of Naperville is to concerned with impressing the neighbors than perpetuating artistic growth. I'm not saying that the education system here isn't impressive, but there seems to be more emphasis placed on making more Jones's to keep up with each other.

Kosta's is an absolute delight!! My kids and all of our friends that we have taken there always enjoy it. Mr. Kosta is very personable and the servers are very helpful when we have a question. Mr. Kosta's fiance even comes in to help occassionally and she is very hospitable and wonderful to talk with! Two thumbs up and we always go back for flaming cheese and the egg lemon soup with a signature salad the best!!

Stuart
Thank you for your open mind about this great project. I support it because it think it is necessasry for the future growth of Naperville and the area. All would benefit.
The difficulity is getting the word out to the community as a whole. The dissenters are already organized.

Thanks for the update and link Sarah. I encourage everyone in Naperville to keep an open mind about the Omnia vision and give them careful consideration... they've done allot of work and while there have been some stumbles along the way they deserve fair consideration.

Further, as a community we need to think through this project as a whole and visualize what it might mean to Naperville in terms of strengthening our community through the arts.

There will be a variety of interests both in support and, I predict, strong opposition of this project. As you listen to the conversation, keep in mind that "all politics are local" and there are those with self-interest who will seek to destroy this idea regardless of its merits.

My hope is these voices will have an opportunity to share their legitimate concerns, but ultimately not seek to drown out the voices of our community as a whole should its consensus be to support such a project. SM

Just came across this posting. Since it was from last year, I thought I would include an update about the project. A lot of new information can be found on www.omniaarts.org. And the big news is that the city has approved a public open house on June 23rd, to provide the Omnia team a chance to present the concept to the city.
